Scones imported from US


Hey, hei as die Recette vun Mechi an Marc aus San Francisco fier Scones ze machen.
Di wooren wierklech gudd. Wann ech bessi Zeit fannen maan ech se vlait e Sonnden an dann kennt na eng Foto! ;o))

SCONES
375g flour
100g sugar
25g baking powder
3g salt
170g butter
235g milk
1 egg

Preheat the overn at 200C. Lightly grease a baking sheet
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in the butter. Mix the egg and the milk in a small bowl and stir into flour mixture until moistened.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly flowered surface and knead briefly. Cut the dough into 12 pieces, form rolls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake ~22 minutes until the scones are golden brown.
